If your vehicle was built 03/2010 and later, or cars had the firmware updated after 03/2010, the USB option is recommended.
If your vehicle was built before 09/2009, you can use the DVD version of the update to load the maps into your vehicle. Its firmware does not support USB update.
The new map has two different regions, WEST and EAST (please see countries included in each region below). They will also be two separate updates as well. Meaning West is different from East and both cannot be loaded at the same time. You can use the same FSC code for the same version of different region map. This means if you order a lifetime code or one-time FSC code, you can still use it for both WEST and EAST maps.
Order options
you can ‘select an option’ from the drop down menu under the price tag on the page, We will provide full instructions for any option you choose. order options available for this map:
- Map download (with/out FSC code) – you need to download the map from us. Once downloaded, you need to copy data into USB keys.
- The map on USB keys (with/out FSC code) – you can consider this option if your car was made after 03/2010 or it had firmware update recently. It only takes about 30-40 mins to update via USB port.
- Map on DVDs (with/out FSC code) – this option is mainly for cars made before 09/2009
